to be honest your completely correct. how ever there are sometimes where the plane is still some what intact, like it might be split into 3 pieces or something, but yeah it mostly does break apart. and the chances of you getting in a plane crash a 1 in 3.7 billion. if you disagree with this comment, please reply.

Because business class ptvs must be stored during taxi so if they were to play the safety video on the ptvs business class passengers would be unable to see it, so that is why the F/As do a live demonstration.

they used to until they removed the TV's on Airbus 319-320-321 aircraft. Now they only show it on the 767 and 757. The Airbus 320 aircraft are going to get new PTV's that feature fiber-optics they weigh a lot less.
